Much More Than Me is a natural merging of Kathy’s former company, We Believe in This Love, with Caryn’s passion for writing and advocating on behalf of rescue dogs. The vision of peaceful coexistence characterized by the We Believe in This Love products has widened in scope with the creation of the Much More Than Me line of t-shirts.

The desire to educate about how dogs really end up in rescue situations will resonate in some of our t-shirts, on this site and on our blog. Caryn’s experiences writing for a variety of publications and organizations about rescue dogs drew her to create her book, UNDERDOGS: Valuable Information and Stories of Transformation .

Caryn has been a volunteer at Pacific Coast Dog Rescue for several years. She has seen first hand countless examples of dogs deemed “difficult” elsewhere, often plagued with fear- based aggression, transformed into confident, and loving additions to families.

UNDERDOGS is a dance of storytelling and informational pieces designed to describe how dogs really end up in rescues and how to prevent it from happening, even to a well-loved dog. It is also a celebration of the immeasurable value found between courageous and resilient dogs and their new families when adoption is done well. Sadly, millions of homeless pets euthanized each year just didn’t meet “their person,” the one who would share a reciprocal bond with them transforming both lives in the process.
